How to use this website

The left and top navigation remains the same on all pages.

If you get stuck, click on the logo in the top left corner to take you to the Law Commission home page, or you can use the 'Back' button in your server to return to the previous page.

'About the Law Commission' will supply you with the answers to any questions you might have about the organisation. If you require further clarification, please contact us.

'Publications' will offer you a choice of looking at consultations, both current and closed; reports on areas of law; and annual reports, programmes of law reform and statute law revision reports. If you cannot find the document you are looking for, go to 'A-Z of Projects', where you can search for a key word. If you still cannot find the document you are looking for, please contact us.

The 'Law Under Review' page sets out the progress of projects of law reform which being undertaken by Government Departments and other law reform agencies in England and Wales.

'Working for the Law Commission' offers guidance on the vacancies that are currently available at the Law Commission, and general information about working here.

If the information you want is something that's just been announced or published, go to 'Whats New' on the home page.

If it's not apparent which of our headings your area of interest will be in, you can use the sitemap, or the website's own search engine to help guide you to the most likely pages for the subject you're looking for.

About pdf documents

Most of the consultations and reports on this website are PDF files. To view them you will require Adobe Acrobat Reader.
